Organizing the Pantry

Ever since I got back from my trip life has been a bit chaotic. Including the pantry. Now that things are coming together I decided it was time to organize the pantry. To organize the pantry I used empty jars, cereal containers, plastic bins, wire mesh baskets, and large tupperware containers. What a difference it made! 

    Empty Jars & Cereal Containers

I used jars to store grains, nuts, and seeds. I also used sterilite cereal containers from Target. 

    Plastic Bins & Wire Mesh Baskets

I used plastic pins from the Dollar Store to store baking items, packaged grains, dried fruit, herb tea, and gluten-free flour.

I also used wire mesh baskets from Hobby Lobby for snacks, potatoes, and you can also store onions.

  

       Large Tupperware Containers

I used large tupperware containers to store all purpose flour and sugar. These tupperware containers are from the tupperware company. We've had these cotainers for over 20 years! 

Now I can only hope to keep our family pantry organized!

Organizing Hair Items

When I wear hair items I through them in a bucket and have to search for them the next time I need something. I came up with some great tips to organize my hair items using a book ring, a plastic bag, a plastic box, and an empty floss container...what?...you'll see.

The Book Ring:

I put all of my ponytails on the book ring. This makes it a lot easier to put away and grab a ponytail. It is also a great way to bring ponytails when you travel. 

The Plastic Bag:

In the plastic bag I put all of my big hair items including headbands and hair accessories. Yes, I know I need more!

The Empty Floss Container:

Now I know what your thinking. Why would you use an empty floss container to store hair items?

 To store your bobby pins. I thought to myself why not, it fits perfectly. Pop out the floss roll and store your bobby pins. 

The Plastic Box:

Put all of your hair items in a plastic box. This includes your hair brush, your comb, your straightener or a hair dryer, and your hair items. Stay Organized!

Organize your Purses

I got this coat rack organizer a couple of years ago for my birthday and decided to use it as a purse organizer in my closet. Over the years as I have got more purses/bags it has been harder to find which purse I'm looking for. I decided to organize all of my purses by similar colors and patterns.
