Blueberry Banana Smoothie Bowl

Growing up one of my favorite summer traditions was going to our local picking farm to pick blueberries in Maryland. We would pick tons of blueberries that we would freeze and eat for about a year. Unfortunately, when I moved to Colorado there were no blueberry picking farms. Now we buy a lot of blueberries at a good price to freeze up. They are not as good as fresh picked blueberries but, they come close enough. With these delicious blueberries I decided to make a smoothie bowl and it was great! What are some of your favorite berries to pick?!

Blueberry Banana Smoothie Bowl
Servings: 1

Ingredients:
Smoothie:
1 frozen banana
1/3 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup unsweetened almond milk or cold water
Toppings:
1 Tbs. dried raspberries (I used trader joes)
1 frozen blueberry
2 Tbs. rolled oats

Directions:
1. In a high powered blender or food processor, blend smoothie ingredients until creamy.

2. Pour smoothie ingredients in a bowl.

3. Top smoothie with dried raspberries and blueberry in the middle. Sprinkle the rolled oats around the smoothie and serve.
