Skillet Brussel Sprouts

These skillet brussel sprouts are not only easy to make but, they go good with almost any meal. Brussel sprouts are packed with vitamin c. This dish also has green peppers, celery, onion, olive oil, salt, and pepper which adds to it's nutritional value and deliciousness! If you want to make this dish even more delicious you could sprinkle some nutritional yeast or turkey bacon on top!




Skillet Brussel Sprouts 
Servings: 4

Ingredients:
1 lb. fresh or frozen brussel sprouts
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1/4 cup sliced celery
1/4 cup chopped onion 
Pam olive oil spray
1/8 tsp. salt 
1/8 tsp. pepper 

Directions:
1. Cook brussel sprouts in a medium pan with enough water to cover sprouts and bring to a boil until tender for 5-7 min.  

2. Meanwhile, in a large nonstick skillet sauté the green pepper, celery, and onion in olive oil spray for 2 min. 

3. Drain brussel sprouts and add to the vegetable mixture. 

4. Sprinkle salt and pepper on top and serve.
