Black Bean Hummus

Hummus is a versatile food. It is great with vegetables, wraps, salads, apples, crackers, pretzels, and other delicious varieties.  I love hummus and I have it almost everyday! Most hummus are made with garbanzo beans but, this hummus recipe is made with black beans. Let me tell you it tastes AMAZING!!! It is the best hummus I have ever had and I've had a lot of different kinds in my life. To Hummus!

 











Black Bean Hummus
Servings: 16

Ingredients:
2 cans organic black beans, rinsed and drained  (I used organic S&W black beans)  
1/4 cup salsa  (I used wild oats marketplace organic mild salsa) 
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbs. ground cumin
1 1/2 tsp. olive oil 
1 Tbs. water 

Directions:
1. Blend all ingredients in a blender or food processor until creamy.
