Clean Eating Principles

Clean eating is not a diet. It's a lifestyle. There is no one way to clean eating. For some it is "cleaning up their diet." For others it is a "strict clean eating food plan." I am not the one to judge what is "clean enough" to eat because every body is different. For me these are my clean eating basic principles...

1. Eat smaller meals (5-6 a day)
2. Eat foods that are un- or minimally processed
3. Eat whole foods
4. 80% 20% philosophy ( 80% healthy 20% not)

“At its simplest, clean eating is about eating whole foods, or “real” foods — those that are un- or minimally processed, refined, and handled, making them as close to their natural form as possible.” ~Fitness Magazine.
